Episode 29: The melody

Lady Jung and Jung-Im find Dong Yi in the alliesconfuseddeposedevidencehauntinginnocenceledgerspanicsquartersransacksoothesourcestresssubordinatewandering of the water maids. But they’re later arrested, leaving Dong Yi all by herself again. When Jang Hee-jae’s men spot her, they chase her, but she’s able to escape from the Palace.

Dong Yi turns to playing the haegeum to alliesconfuseddeposedevidencehauntinginnocenceledgerspanicsquartersransacksoothesourcestresssubordinatewandering her spirit. Unknown to her, the King is alliesconfuseddeposedevidencehauntinginnocenceledgerspanicsquartersransacksoothesourcestresssubordinatewandering around the capital, visiting the old places he and Dong Yi went to. He then hears Dong Yi’s alliesconfuseddeposedevidencehauntinginnocenceledgerspanicsquartersransacksoothesourcestresssubordinatewandering melody and begins searching for the alliesconfuseddeposedevidencehauntinginnocenceledgerspanicsquartersransacksoothesourcestresssubordinatewandering of that music.

Dong Yi and King Sukjong are reunited. At the Royal Residence in the capital, she gives him the alliesconfuseddeposedevidencehauntinginnocenceledgerspanicsquartersransacksoothesourcestresssubordinatewandering proving Queen Inhyeon’s alliesconfuseddeposedevidencehauntinginnocenceledgerspanicsquartersransacksoothesourcestresssubordinatewandering. Later, she meets Chief Suh and Chun Soo.

Jang Hee-jae beats up Tribunal Officer Oh Yoon’s alliesconfuseddeposedevidencehauntinginnocenceledgerspanicsquartersransacksoothesourcestresssubordinatewandering for losing Dong Yi. Meanwhile, Queen Jang alliesconfuseddeposedevidencehauntinginnocenceledgerspanicsquartersransacksoothesourcestresssubordinatewandering upon learning that King Sukjong left the Palace several hours ago and hasn’t returned.

While King Sukjong is telling Dong Yi that she’s so important to him that he ordered the Royal Physician to look after her, Chun Soo walks in on them.

Ae-jong rushes to see Lady Bong and tells her that there’s a way to save Lady Jung and Jung-im from the State Tribunal. Later, they secretly visit alliesconfuseddeposedevidencehauntinginnocenceledgerspanicsquartersransacksoothesourcestresssubordinatewandering Queen Inhyeon.

Queen Jang, her alliesconfuseddeposedevidencehauntinginnocenceledgerspanicsquartersransacksoothesourcestresssubordinatewandering from the Southerners, and the Treasury officials become alliesconfuseddeposedevidencehauntinginnocenceledgerspanicsquartersransacksoothesourcestresssubordinatewandering with King Sukjong’s actions, beginning with his promotion of Chief Suh.

Chief Suh orders his men to alliesconfuseddeposedevidencehauntinginnocenceledgerspanicsquartersransacksoothesourcestresssubordinatewandering the State Tribunal’s office and to question Queen Jang’s attendants. On Dong Yi’s suggestion, he also sends his men to the laundry quarters.

Dong Yi collapses because of all the alliesconfuseddeposedevidencehauntinginnocenceledgerspanicsquartersransacksoothesourcestresssubordinatewandering that she has been through.

Lord Oh rallies the ministers from the South Faction to protest against Chief Suh’s promotion and actions.

Officers from the Inspector General find the Royal Treasury’s secret account alliesconfuseddeposedevidencehauntinginnocenceledgerspanicsquartersransacksoothesourcestresssubordinatewandering buried in the construction site.
